A lab accident turns a humble dog named Shoeshine Boy (voiced by Jason Lee) into Underdog, a superheroic pooch who speaks in rhyme. He uses his new skills to protect his love, Polly Purebred, and the rest of the residents of Capitol City from the mad scientist, Simon Barsinister (Dinklage).
